Jana R. Sayler, CPA is a Certified Public Accountant and business planning consultant specializing in educational organizations and non-profits. With nearly twenty years of experience in public accounting and financial leadership, she has served as an external controller, managed complex budgets and cash flow for multi-entity operations, and advised clients on compliance, best practices, and operational strategy.

As co-founder and Board Chair of Tallahassee Classical School, Jana co-authored the 200+ page charter application, secured and managed its Charter School Planning Grant, developed the school’s budget and opening plan, obtained tax-exempt bond financing, and managed enrollment, financial compliance, and early school operations.

She later served as the Director of Compliance for a charter management organization, where she oversaw business administration, accounting, and procurement; supervised the accounting team; managed federal programs and grants; directed the opening of a new campus; monitored state and national legislative changes; and advised schools on compliance and best practices. 

She currently serves on the Florida Charter School Review Commission, the state-level authorizer for Florida. She brings hands-on experience founding and scaling classical schools to her consulting work, helping education organizations build sustainable, mission-aligned business models. She and her husband Erik and their four children reside in Tallahassee, Florida.
