Patrick has spent more than 16 years in education in Colorado, including several years in the classroom teaching mathematics, literacy and social studies.  More recently, he has served as a school leader at DSST public schools, where his instructional team leadership was instrumental in multiple National Blue Ribbon Award-winning schools, regularly seeing district-best growth and achievement data across diverse demographics and income levels.

Patrick is passionate about building healthy teams that foster high staff retention and create exceptional learning environments for students. He holds a BA in English from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia and a M.Div. from Denver Seminary, and helps pastor his church in his spare time. Patrick lives in the Denver area with his wife, Katie, and their two daughters.
